A veil of silk enrobes the wool inner and every eyelet is sewn by hand.  All Mortarotti ties respect the environment thanks to the adherence to the "SAVEtheWATER®" program. By using a substance originating from the culinary field which is obtained from chitin, contained in the exoskeletons of crustaceans, we can use 90% less water and energy compared to traditional methods, according to CNR tests. Moreover, the quantity of detergents, bleaches and chemical agents used is also reduced.
